Quick job-hunting update for you all. Have put myself on the books of seven agencies over the past few days and according to most of them the current market is about average so you never know what may be around the corner....
Spent yesterday evening at the Information Professionals' Christmas Party which, despite the fact very few of my ex-colleagues and friends turned up, was quite an entertaining evening. And, miracle of miracles, they even provided enough food to go round....
Have signed my compromise agreement with the company so it is just a case of getting the final months' salary in the bank. I have three weeks to find something before the severence pay has to be plundered....
