My Favourite Waste Of Time....

Friday's interview turned out to be a complete washout - the people were nice enough, the job reasonably interesting but the work very junior compared to hat I have been doing. They were obviously interested in me but when it came to salary - well, I am afraid I have to balk at accepting a basic wage equivalent to what I was earning eleven years ago....

I emailed them after the interview when I go home to advise not to take my application any further. So I await responses from the agency who had an interesting technical position with another oil & gas company and further follow-ups from another agency who had an interesting vacancy for legal publications - both of which I will follow up on tomorrow....

Back to the Job Centre on Tuesday - ho hum.....
