This Is The Sign Of The Times....

Back to the Job Centre today to sign on again. Next visit scheduled for two weeks' time. Jumped through the necessary hoops, got the feeling that the person was going through the motions a tad.

I have twelve weeks to find something before any benefits money I get is stopped. At that point I will be forced to take anything suitable presumably regardless of my previous experience and abilities....

No joy yet from the technical librarian post that I was informed about last week. I got sent details of a three-month contract vacancy that sounded reasonably good but is actually unsuitable as I have no significant e-journals experience. And so it goes on....

At least all the trunking is finished for the various wires in the living room. The task tomorrow is painting....
