Twenty Thousand Miles Up In The Sky Each Night....

Apologies once again for the lack of posts. The temp job is going OK, easy peasy lemon squeezy, and keeps me out of the house. Still trying for proper jobs....

Had the interview up in Notts for the NHS job on Wednesday. Went OK but I didn't set the place alight. Would be very surprised if I am offered it, to be honest. Some of the questions they asked me were a little strange and open-ended and I don't think I did myself justice....

However - I applied for a job with an aerospace/satellite company locally via the web over the course of the Bank Holiday weekend and had an email on Tuesday to contact the agency ASAP. They phoned me on Wednesday morning to a they had already submitted my CV and that there was some interest. By late Wednesday they called me back with an interview date, for next week. So, let's see what happens....

At least the interviews are starting to happen after at long last. Two in two weeks is a significant improvement on oe (cancelled) in the previous four months....
